This is the haiku I am living with today

the silent crowd
waiting for the fountain
to rise again

    I’m longing for a bit of still water at this end. Love the way we keep running into haiku that mirror what we are living! 🙂

    Yes that is true on a deeper level and a superficial level I was at the beach last weekend!

    The line breaks really make this one and three lines for this poem are perfect. I love that the poem ends with “to rise again”!
